First, a quick request. I'm looking for new jobs and I'd like to be able to showcase my translations, but pointing your potential employer towards a large stack of violent pornography is tactically poor. So, I'm looking for something non-H to translate. I'm not well familiar with the non-H scene so I'm coming to FAKKU for advice. I'll consider any suggestions, but bonus points if your suggestions are:
- relatively short, no Golgo 13 length stuff please. :D
- unlicensed.
- I prefer action/comedy/drama over romance.
Please leave suggestions in this thread, and I'll keep checking back regularly.

I think you should translate Embalming The Another Tale Of Frankenstein by Nobuhiro Watsuki. I read the pilots and they were quite epic and I would love to see the series continue in English. It's basically about a mercenary who is a Frankenstein creature. Instead of money for his services he takes body parts so he can build a wife so to speak. It's really action packed and freaky. What do you think?

I will point out that access to raws is not an issue. I live in Japan, and there are several VERY extensive manga bookshops nearby including secondhand stuff. I'm fairly confident I can get my hands on anything that isn't super-rare.

I've just been reading the wiki's quickly to get an overview of the series being suggested. I'm going to purchase the first couple of books for stuff that sounds interesting to give them a good read and for high quality scans.

Ubel Blatt does look like a good, solid action series. Liar Game looks like a possible good mind fuck. And Kami no Shizuku is surprisingly resonant with me, my family has a strong background in wine so I think I'd potentially be able to do an excellent job with that one. Dragon Zakura just doesn't sound as interesting as any of those three, so it's probably out of contention for now.

Keep the suggestions coming guys, there's a million terrible manga out there but the ones you guys are throwing up are gems.
