In other news, Chinese foot binding is hard yo. Like half the time it's just trying to stop the kid from kicking and screaming so much then you gotta break the toes, break the foot, rip the nails and wrap all that in shawarma wrap. Well if you keep the nails they'll just keep growing and with the shape of the feet, they'll start to dig into the skin causing wounds which will cause infection.
And with the feet bound the way they are, blood won't be able to get there so the infected wounds'll start to rot and the toes'll start falling off and the smell will get gnarly.
So I figure, fuck it. Rip out the nails.
wow... I feel like a horrible person now.
Actually, the Chinese encouraged having the feet infected so the toes would fall out and the feet could fit into the shoes easier. Some would even stick broken glass in between the toes to cause cuts.
