Welcome to cars in general, son. You should probably see if you can be a bit mechanically minded... It really cuts costs. I've fixed a fair few things on my car. Things that'd cost $2,000+ to replace in a shop, I did... Saved tonnes :D Timing belt and head gasket in a front wheel drive car = massive pain in the ass
>front wheel drive cars
See, this is what I'm trying to avoid.
My next car will have:
1) RWD
2) Manual Transmission
Also, want manual seats, windows, and other bits that don't need to be electronic...
Only seems to cause problems.
Front wheel drives aren't that bad, it's just they are a very small workspace, so gay to work on...
But, that is a good idea. No power shit to fail on you
Rear wheel drive cars just feel like more fun to drive, especially in the snow, hehe.
I drove a RWD car once, and was sold on the whole system.
Also, manual transmissions are best transmissions.
Agreed and agreed ;D

This Corolla was on Craigslist for a while, but it seems like it was taken down.
I was gunning for this car.

That looks like a model just after the ae86... That would have been decent. Looked a bit worn though

It is an 86, but not the Sprinter Trueno. Different body, also not a hatchback, but basically same car.
I was told by a car geek that it's the "poor man's AE86".

Ah, so it's the commercial ae86. Has the trueno front end though. I do love the coupe ae86's though. They look much better than the hatches imo

I mostly wanted to get the car so I could turn off my headlights at night, start to pass someone, then turn them on halfway through the pass while blaring "MISSION IMPOSSIBLE EASY AND SIMPLE GO"
When I had my 96 Accord, you have no idea how much eurobeat I used to listen to in the car.
Unfortunately, my Lumina lacks a tape deck...
