1. How do I extract RAR and 7z files?

You can extract RAR files with either 7zip or Winrar. I recommend 7zip because it’s free. If there is more than one RAR or 7z file, like fap.part1.rar and fap.part2.rar, just right click part1 and click 7zip -> Extract here.

2. What do I do with an ISO or IMG file?

You mount it to emulate a DVD. I recommend PowerISO to do so. After installing it, just right click your ISO file and click PowerISO -> Mount image

GAMES AND VIDEOS

1. Why am I getting errors and crashes on japanese games? How to change my regional settings to japanese?

It’s quite simple. On Windows Vista/7 just click Start -> Control Panel -> Clock, Language and Region -> Region and Language -> Administrative tab -> Change system locale.. and select Japanese. Restart and all errors and crashes are gone.

IMPORTANT: Most people still have problems because they usually download and extract a zip file before changing regional settings to japanese, you must only extract or do anything else to japanese programs only after switching to japanese settings.

If you still use Windows XP, you can use applocale, I don’t recommend it though. Why? Because it doesn’t work on all games, you are still better off with japanese regional settings. DO NOT USE APPLOCALE ON WINDOWS VISTA/7, IT WON’T WORK!

Anetori doesn't work for me. When I extracted it, it said the file was corrupt and i redownloaded and still said it. I tried both 7zip and winrar
