I never knew this was a real word. I thought this was for a... really gay man. Though in retrospect, wouldn't that be Gayqueen?

In any case, I was doing work related e-learnings and in the document started talking about gaylords. I was skimming until I saw the word in bold, and scrolled back up thinking "wait, what?"

I shouldn't be doing this at 3:26am

Isn't it some sort of box? Though my grandfather told me that they would call Nazi (Or Italian, not completely sure, one of the two) tank drivers Gaylords during World War II.
