My apologies if I come off sounding rude, we kind of have a hurricane coming our way, so I'm trying to get as many interesting articles as possible to read when the electricity (inevitably) goes out.

My favourite novel happens to be John Irving (of Cinder House Rules fame)'s "A Prayer For Owen Meany."

I've enjoyed the sundry escapades of Sherlock Holmes and Arsène Lupin.

I enjoy Agatha Christie's titles.

I also enjoy M.C. Beaton's "Hamish MacBeth" series, too.

I'm not asking you what book you like, I'm telling you that you'll find better material in a book than in any "cool" threads on Fakku.

Read "The Blank Slate" or something mind-blowing.

While I agree with you in regard to novels and documentative nonfiction having better material, I tend to be very picky about what novels and such that I read.

I will, however, look into the title that you mentioned.

Watch discovery channel instead.
