Genometrics Concert Hall ~Mrgrgr!!!~

Ugh…maybe I should just dump these rocks out the window. Ever since we left the ruins Luna has been exploring the ship. Apparently she can control the electrical components of the ship. This was an ability that she didn’t know she had because there were no electronics back at the ruins. She was so thrilled to be able to “touch” something for the first time that she’s been exploring the ship activating all sorts of things. She’s also activated some things that I didn’t know the ship had. One of them was a hidden missile system. I sure was surprised when the ship locked on to a creature flying by and fired one air-to-air missile and blew it out of the sky. She also came across a stealth system. It’s faulty though so it doesn’t work but maybe some repair shop can fix it.

A few things like that and some others were good discoveries, but for the most part it’s just been annoying.

As I’m pondering what to do with this troublesome ghost, her voice comes through the intercom.

“Calling Straha. Come in Straha.”

“What is it?”

“…”

“Luna?”

“Press the intercom button to talk to me!”

“I don’t need to do that, I know you can hear me.”

“But it’s more fun if you press the button!”

Sigh…I punch the button

“This is Straha. What is it?”

“Report to the control room. Over”

“Maybe I really should toss these rocks out the window” I say as I go to the control room.

“Hey! I heard that!”

“I know you did. Take it as a warning”

“Big meanie”

I can picture her sticking her tongue out. I get to the control room after a minute or so and see Luna sitting in the pilot’s chair. Shouldn’t she be in the co-pilot’s chair instead.

“What’s up? Why did you call me here?”

“A few minutes ago the ship started picking up a distress signal from the ground nearby. The message is still playing. I’ll put it on the speakers”

“ I repeat, this is a distress call to any ship In the area. We need your help. We are a transport crew of Megalosembria. We are carrying an important cargo and it is of the essence that it is delivered as soon as possible.”

“That voice sounds familiar somehow” I say” Let’s drop in and help them. It’s not a good idea to be announcing that you are carrying something important like that. Raiders might come in and try to take advantage of the situation.”

“Okey dokey”
