It's just a different art style and animation and people will get over it since it is just an animated short made by a Chinese studio.

I think the last time the Japanese were this inspired by an American cartoon was before WW2.
It's just another alternate version, just like the "Dark Knight Returns" which was pretty successful so I don't understand why there would be haters.
Looks pretty cool for what it is though.
