I finally got to see Cabin In The Woods

Fucking Unicorns impaling a nigga.

Oh and if anyone bothered on getting a hold of a copy of the movie be sure to stop and check the remaining time once Sigourney Weaver mentions that there's 8 minutes till morning.

In short, I got mind fucked by Sigourney FUCKING Weaver and I didn't realize it until after the movie was over.

They actually have a book that details the making of the movie. It shows artwork for all the monsters on the white board plus a few more of them.

I love the insane amount of references in the movie. Evil Dead, Hellraiser, there was a firefly and left 4 dead reference in there as well.

Yeah i thought it just sucked, i mean they got their sacrifice (Virgin or not)
But meh, maybe its cause i wasnt expecting it and was hoping for something else you know?

Not quite.

Spoiler:
Marty (the Fool) was supposed to die before Dana (the Virgin), or else the whole ritual goes to shit. Since Dana got bit by a werewolf and Marty was more or less okay by the end of the movie, the sacrifice was never finished and the evil gods destroyed the world.

I actually liked that ending because I didn't expect it to happen. Not many movies end in those kinds of kill em all scenarios, so I respected that Wheden and Goddard managed to pull one off so well. Even moreso with the evil gods, as I honestly can't think of any other movie that ended like that. So, for me, it's earned some points for originality.
