I know right, maybe because girlfriend's mad at me (or more like I'm mad at her) and I decided to do my assignment tomorrow so I'm left with nothing to do.

What is the assignment on?
I'm in my extra year now repeating a year and re-taking exams. Exams are in January and June for my subjects.

Australian History, Management and Accounting.
I'm still in year 12 thanks to my decision to repeat year 12 for not being able to get the Uni I wanted to go to last year.

I'm doing
AS Psychology, so I'm in a class of newfag year 12s for this
AS English Literature (got an A on exam and A on coursework in A2 so decided to retake AS where I got a D and B)
A2 Sociology, doing beliefs in society; global development; and crime and deviance
A2 Japanese

What's the difference between A2 and AS?

The qualification is called A-Level which is a 2 year course.
AS is the first year and A2 is the second year, each with their own separate exams, so A2 is harder and more work. AS alone is a qualification but to get a full A-Level you need to do the second year as well.

Basically AS + A2 = A-Level
And it's A-Levels that are the requirements to get into university here in the UK. And the minimum requirement for the uni I want to go to is 3 A-Levels at AAB grades.

Well, shouldn't Psych and Lit be easy for you? And Japanese, you can get B easy.




I was just talking about tats, how cool it is and just wished I have one (even though you know it's impossible for me), and she started getting on my nerves and everything, I just stood there speechless.

Psychology was just another subject I had to pick up to be counted as a full time student because Japanese is outside the 6th form. You have to be doing 3 subjects in it to be counted as a full time student. So it doesn't really matter if I fail psychology, but I'll still try.

English Lit I'm confident I can get an A and I was confident I could get one in sociology but some things changed that I won't get into so I'm hoping for a B, but still going to push for an A. Then Japanese I'm trying for an A. Got an A at AS but I did horrible at A2... got an E. So ended up with a C A-Level overall. I know why though and know what I need to do. There's a huge leap in difficulty between the two years for Japanese.
