Manga requires a large vocabulary which you do no have at the moment nor the ability to fully comprehend every sentence that may be possibly tossed at you. You must also understand that you will most likely be receiving almost no help at all with manga translation as long as your group wishes to strive for what leechers really want. Fast, quality scans shortly after it is released in Japan.

Keep these in mind. I would highly recommend not even touching Manga till you can atleast start watching raw anime. My advice though is for those who wish to be consistent high quality translators from the very start.

If I find any good manga thats not translated I know who to bug with it now I guess...

Well, the one I picked is a complete series spanning 6 volumes. Only 5 chapters of the first volume translated and it doesn't have any Code Geass-style talk.

So it's not important to keep up with other competing groups at all, nor do I have to fight with a ridiculous language level, either.

And wasn't it you who advised me to start with non-h manga first before I move on? I mean, it's a perfect opportunity to go beyond the cumming x 100 (as Raze put it, lol).

Edit: The translation of the first five chapters is so shit awful. I compared translation and raws and what they put in there was either way off sometimes or was just plain bad Engrish.
