Well the issue would be if randos started spamming to get a higher post count in order to get into the waifu game. I can't see any other reason why anyone would do spam.
But if I were to flip the whole thing - I can neither say anything that would be beneficial out of this. Apart from obtaining achievements quicker.
So it's your call since I'm indifferent to it. You could bring back the special privileges in some form but seeing that reputations are still here, it might be better to use them instead.

I think people will spam for awhile...maybe a month. Things will die down, though, and It'll go back to normal 'cause there's no real reason to want post count. If you're okay with IB getting a little...incoherent, then I don't see why not.

Increased post count doesn't encourage spamming because there's no payout for it. And users who want to spam to get a higher post count would have done so in other sections.

Without said privelages the "no post count in I.B and ChaTFaG" thing became pretty redundant.
I'd say give it a trial run, see how things go. I don't see why would encourage people to shitpost, since people have made it clear that post counts don't mean anything anyway.

I somehow foresee this being abused for achievements, not that those mean anything anyway.
Plus, to be honest - IB shouldn't have post count for the sole reason that mostly irrelevant topics go here, not really contributing to anything specific.
Though, it is a really good way to kill time.
