I assumed it'd be dealt with, but was surprised to see GreatestNight/GoodDay still posting.

I checked the time of his last post and when you posted about the IP check, but I still don't see any kind of ban when viewing his profile which is confusing me. Is he banned and for how long?

What really constitutes a ban is revocation of forum viewing and posting permissions, which can be achieved multiple ways. In this case, it is a password change.
