Demanding teamwork applies in almost every team-based games as it's supposed to be, so I don't think I really get the differences between HoN and Dota in that case. Are you trying to say that HoN allows the players to spam skills given they have proper equipments, like say a more-broken Refresher Orb?

If I recall correctly, Mortred with BKB was still vulnerable against Troll Warlord with Butterfly. Maybe it's more like not many people use anti-BKB-carries in Dota nowadays, since Faceless Void or Troll Warlord seem to be not as popular as they used to be.

yup,if it's team-based Moba games,I still think Dota is the most balanced one,from out of 3 games that I've tried,HoN Dota and LoL~
not really,HoN and DotA is basically the same,but I still prefer HoN more,the skills in HoN are well balanced than DotA,in term of dividing the magic-skills damager,Physical-skills damager,attack/hit-magic type and Attack/hit-Physical type~ so must do more thinking about what to buy,whether it's to anti physical or to anti magic,thus BKB is not Overpowered,not like when Mortred with BKB and carry items~
also in HoN,you cannot use ghost staff/BKB/Mask of madness at one time,really need to be careful what to buy and when to use~

yup yup,but right now you can make MKB to counter miss,so basically Mortred can kill anyone except they make ghost staff~

So you mean every hero in HoN has their own edge and that they are set to utilize it to the very best? Unlike in Dota where you can improvise, for the best of your team, with little to no penalty if you are good enough to compensate. And why cannot you equip BKB, Ghost Staff, and Mask of Madness at the same time? It's not like they don't stack to each other.

Yeah, that's Caesar. Currently too weak to search for other good avi, so I use her since she's not a bad choice, I say. Sadly, I rarely have any topic to talk with, so I tend to be a boring person to talk with... ;-;

hmm what I mean in here,Voljin cannot do BKB and Ghost staff anymore that it makes him impossible to be killed and cast his Ulti happily~ or mortred with MoM and BKB hitting everyone she wants until BKB wears off~

nah,In HoN you can still use many kind of utilize,but a little limited,right heroes with Physical skill are better make physical items,rather than making magic items~
they made it into special modifier or special effects~ so cannot stack with each other~

I like HoN more because individual skills in that game will show very much,but in the end,they one that will win is the one who have better team fight~

Claiming you have no have no friends in real life is no walk in the park to say. There must be at least one who considers you their friend, no; you mustn't disrespect them, whether intentionally or not, by saying you don't have one.



So I suppose you've been meaning to say that HoN is more strategic than Dota because of the classifications.
The way you say it though, HoN seems more restrictive, if anything, than Dota.
