Meanwhile, in Russia

I heard about this on the radio this morning.

Some guy in Russia wanted to purpose to his fiance so he decided what better way to do it than to fake his own death. He staged an elaborate car crash scene and as his poor fiance wept over what she thought was his dead body, he go up onto one knee and proposed.

And of course, like so many stupid brawds these days, she said yes.
When asked why he did it he said he "wanted her to realize how her life would have no meaning without him."

He sounds like a very intelligent and selfless man.
