Stopped caring. Thanks for all the contributions.
idk; Osts, Classics, anything soul shaking that has those chilling moments. I have poor experience but here's what made me slip my beer and fall on the knees

Differs from person to perosn, I find it astonishing.
EDIT: Altho, for something seriously astonishing; (atleast I find it that)
Both of these songs.

Both of these songs.
Spoiler:
That's more like what I had in mind.
The second one's more funky than chilling but the first is what makes this guy's reaction appropriate.
Spoiler:
Also, it would be nice if we continued with the >amazing_time thing as that's what makes people moist want to check it out.

I guess you mean epic-sounding music? There are tons of those! Here are a couple of my favorites:
Gundam Unicorn, Unicorn <---check its OST, it's pretty good!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v25MaXwopNI
Two Steps from Hell, Dragon Rider <---check out XxImmortalmagexX on Youtube for more of these
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XstrpkqT6dw
Shin Getter Robo, Yuusou

Chrono Cross, Time's Scar <--this one's more epic on an orchestral/instrumental scale
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVhrYF0QvOo&feature=related
Xenogears, Flight <--truly a perfect description of a fighter plane getting ready to fly off
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Pdv1zDSGYk
Fate Stay Night, Emiya <--pretty infamous badasss theme in the anime community
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSm6nnwesV4&feature=related
Super Robot Wars, Trombe
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvbkVAnpcR4
Silver Will, Golden Wings, Legend of Heroes Sora no Kiseki <---if this doesn't shake you even by a bit, I don't know what will.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEdcvvRX7iY
Awakening Will in piano, Megaman Zero

Epic is the only word that describes this song.Spoiler:
I was expecting growlier stuff. Not exactly knee grounding (more like family metal), i'm listening to it and liking those lute seconds.
@axeltrinity not exactly epic. Epic usually comes in courage/valour format while soul shaking makes people slip their alcohol and starts rotating the camera. Both have chills. And thanks, checking it out later.
edit* Ok so I listened to them and most were battle music (Gundam Unicorn and Shin Getter Robo being hero themes) with the last four going disco (Super Robot Wars was fun thou). If I wanted epic battle music i'd full volume'd Toshiro Masuda's Heavy Violence instead of making this thread.

Here's some astounding music I made myself. Hope this wets your whistle.Spoiler:
The first one. Strings sounded cheap as fuck (and asking for charity) but I liked it. Ain't slipping my beer though.

Maybe something like this?Spoiler:
#1 Saved. Now that I think about it, I made this thread with an image of grandiose remourse/enlightenment atmosphere, you know, when protagonists fall in awe or notice the miracles around em and that music that finishes you off. Like that mindblow Yoshii posted above.
But #1 is ok too.

This.
not because it holds any kind of originality to itself, But it some how adds to a fire within my soul.
Something like this isn't and never will be easy to explain, but when I listen to it, it's like I find purpose to fight on for what I believe in.
There have been many times where I have asked myself if I should go on with my pursuit, or whether I should give up on my dream and pursue others.
And where I before stood unanswered, I find this piece of music answers me and tells me to go on, to fight for my dream, and that it is worthy.
It, for me fills a empty space in my mind, and in that sense, helps me gather my thoughts.
I know it sounds like a cliché, but that is what comes to my mind when I hear this song.
In my opinion, these kinds of songs; that some how are able to find their way into your heart and mind are some amazing pieces of musical artworks.
yours sincerly.
