Numerology and You

So my friend showed me a book all about Numerology and I thought it would make a fun little thread. There's waaaaay more detail, variables, options, etc than what I have here, but I'll try to keep this pretty simple : ) All info comes from a book called Love By the Numbers.

So Frank Sinatra's Power Name Number would be 6.
Check the Spoiler below for your number and a description.[/h]

Does it match you? : )

First, take your full name (first, middle, and last)
and assign a number to each letter with the following chart.
and assign a number to each letter with the following chart.

The Power Name Number
Add all the consonants and vowels together and reduce them to one digit.[/h]
* Do not include suffixes such as Jr., Sr., III.
* If your number is a double digit, reduce again by adding the two numbers.
For example, if your number is 29, add 2+9 = 11. Then add 1+1 = 2.
Your power name number would be 2.

Birth Day Number
The number of the day on which you were born. If it is more than one digit, then reduce it to one digit.[/h]
So if you are born on the 27th, add 2+7 = 9. Your birth day number would be 9.

Name Number: 3
A person with a 3 Power Name Number is called upon to be a communicator on some level. It could be on a stage, teaching, radio broadcasting, behind-the-scenes writing, or counseling. The Power Name Number 3 encourages those with that Number to express themselves. In love, the Power Name Number 3 will make their partners laugh, and they appreciate your wit, too. A realized Power Name Number 3 will find a job where a round of applause is forthcoming. They need people, and they do see the world as their stage. If you love someone with the Power Name Number 3, and they are not good at expressing themselves, that tells me that they did not have the support they needed when they were young from one, or both, of their parents. If you are willing to be their audience, and encourage them to be their best self, the smile on their face will make it well worth it!
>>communicator? um... I dont really think so. I'm not really around people so yeah...
Birthday number 2
One of the first things you will notice about people born on a 2 Day is the sensitivity in their eyes, and when they are hurt, it is obvious. They have an air of kindness about them and usually want to help others out on some level. They are good listeners, loyal in friendship and love. You can count on a 2 to come through for you, especially if you are their loved one or someone they view as a good friend.
>> I guess thats pretty much right. except for the hurt part. I dont like to show that.

Actually i do.
Spoiler:
But if the Power Name Number 8 says, “I don’t really care about money,” unless he or she is a trust-fund baby, I would be really concerned.

These are subject to error as my mental calc ability seems to be rusting somewhat.
Name: 5
Other variations of my name gave 2 and 4.
Birthday: 9
Huh. Amazing how they have some truth in them.

When adding my middle name (the longest name of my three), I end up with 65, which would give me the Power Number of 11, but since that's not there, I'm going to remove it for the sake of the game. So, with that in mind...
Power Number:
This is more or less spot on. Kinda creepy.
Birth Day Number:
I'm generally not too outspoken unless it's something won't cause problems (i.e. if it's an in-class debate that I care about or if I'm just talking about games). That aside, much of this is amusingly accurate. Especially the tastes in jewelry and nice clothes, lol. And the whole "upbeat person who is also a natural cheerleader" personality has always been attractive to me, so that's good to know. _b

11 is usually a special case in numerology.
*knows this quite well with his full birth date giving an 11*

I thought you assigned every letter in the name a number, and added them together.
i.e. My middle name would go as such; "ANTONIO" => "1 + 5 + 2 + 6 + 5 + 9 + 6 = 34" and adding that to my first and last name (31) would result in 65, making 6 + 5 = 11.
Oh, so I reduce the number again then? I figured it was just the one reduction and that was it. Well, in that case...!
Spoiler:
I prefer the first one (even though it's decided without my middle name involved) but this one is okay for the supportive aspect of it; and I do second guess myself a lot, only to regret it, so that's something, lol.

What do we do if we're a Jr, III, or even XVI?
Without that, this is my answer:
Name Number
5+4+7+1+9+1+6+8+1+5+5+3+9+1+1+1=67 | 6+7=13 | 1+3=4
My answer: It fits... but then it doesn't fit. I've been told by many people that I'm an old-soul, just like a 9 is. So I guess that both 4 & 9 apply to me?
Birthday Number
...I was born on the 2nd, so that makes it relatively easy...
My answer: I think it's true... A lot of people do happen to know what I'm feeling just by looking in my eyes...

Lui is super correct! To find out more about the numbers 11 and 22 (what the book calls "Master Numbers"), I would get a copy of the book. There is an entire chapter dedicated to them, far too much to post here. As far as I can tell though, this is additional information and doesn't affect your result when calculating the base Power Name number. They would still both be reduced down to 2 and 4, respectively.
