Persona 3 = Weeaboo

That was hilarious. It could be worse.
You could be playing Revelations Persona on the PS1, as some really dorky looking ghostly white main character, wondering why you're in a city that Atlus claims is in America even though you go to a Shinto Shrine, and then deal with the rest of the over-Americanized content thrown in the game.
I guess the door can swing both ways.

I just died midway into a grinding session. RageIn the normal story or The Answer? Anyways, normal story is not that hard. But The Answer is just riduculously difficult. And the fact that you can't teleport to the levels where the bosses are at is just fucked up.
I've tried countless times, but I'm yet to beat The Answer.

Was in The Answer but due to the lack of story I just read up what happens and started P4, and then my gamepad broke.
Feels bad man.

P3 story > P4 story (P3 ending was fucking awesome) P4 nakama > P3 nakama (Brosuke, Chie, Yukiko)
P3 soundtrack > P4 soundtrack (excluding battle songs, p4 was better in that aspect)
P4 Izanagi > P3 Orpheus (Need I say more?)
P3 Main Character > P4 Main Character (Will never be as awesome as P3 MC. I.E. Fuck you, Sindalf.)
P3 Summoning > P4 Summoning (Guns over cards)
Dark hour > TV world (This is questionable)
YAKUZA 2! PLAY IT! LOVE IT! ETC.

P3's battle songs, especially the boss songs on P3 (Master of Tartarus, Master of Shadow, Battle for everyone's souls, etc.) still pwns p4's in that regard.

Then I edit what I said to say the main battle song cause what you said is true.
Persona 4 Battle theme > Persona 3 Battle theme

Well, we could start renaming characters to Mark and Joe again, I guess. At least that's not weeaboo, that's stupid - and people know what that is, at least.
Personally, I had a lot of fun with the Japanese that was left in - the main portion of my video games is in Japanese anyway. Only weird thing was the Romaji, I can't stand that...

OK bumping my lolvideogameblog. Not intelligent enough for the video game section. Not deep enough for my own website. I really should do something like that so I can talk about spoilers, but then no one would read it.

So I said fuck dragon age. I can see why some people like it but it was just too boring and bland for me. So I had to find another game to play. I found the perfect replacement! A little rpg classic called Chrono Trigger for the snes. I actually tried playing this long ago on my old pc but I didn't finish it due to me being a lazy fuck. I found out when I finally beat this game that I was actually like 2hrs from the end of the game.
So the game starts off with this kid Crono which like all generic rpgs is a normal boy in a town where nothing ever fucking happens. Ends up running into a girl who seems to have some magical pendent on her that later though some major teleporting bullshit gets you sent back 400 years. By now its easy to see from the world map size that this game is nothing more than one giant Timefuck. There then turns out to be some giant war between monsters and humans. Giant spiked turtles who wanna take over the world.
That's pretty much the entire story. You can actually finish the game like within 1hour into it since you can kill the boss of the game at like any time. I decided to do the real thing and actually play to the end where no more story develops. Did all the side quests except some gay future shit that I was just boring. I really liked how they had what you do in each time effect what happens in other time periods, even if it was a primitive done job. Game has like 50 different endings due to being able to kill the boss at any times, some only available on the 2nd playthrough and one only available on the DS version (which I would very much like to see).
Another one of those games where the main character never speaks but that's fine since the other characters are so good. Frog and Marle are exceptionally good not only in battle but their individual stories. Story was simple but exceptionally well executed. Cool thing is if you don't like a character just never use them. You can basically phase them out of the game forever.
Battle system is incredibly simple for anyone. Most normal mobs can be killed by just using attack besides a few that have different properties that keep the game interesting. But then there are the bosses. You may be able to zerg down every single mob the area with regular attacks but the bosses will still give you problems. A game where they finally realized that people can grind. There are no random battles you can skip every fight but many you can't skip unless you know where exactly they are. Near the end of the game it gets abit easy. If you finished all the side quests you are pretty much like 5levels above where you should be for the boss of the game and you have all the best gear in the game. If you have all your abilities it gets even more ridiculous at that point since you have like 80mp and can wipe out 5mobs in one spell that costs 2mp(that's if you are gearing yourself properly). Everything before the end though is full of challenges and if you most of the fights is sure to test your skill. Double and Triple techniques are pretty awesome. Especially early own when your normal attack does like 200damage and you can combine attacks for like 1000.
Overall it was a good game and I would highly recommend it to anyone with abit of time on their hands. It's like 2MB and I could run it on a Pentium 3 PC so there's no reason no one should not be able to run it. There was a PS1 version but I would not even attempt to play it. It has sub par audio and insane loading times that make the game unplayable. There is also a DS version I would recommend more than the snes version if you can get your hands on it.
I'm not 100% sure what to play for my next game. I was going to give Super Mario Sunshine a try but I'm having some frame rate issues in some areas. I was also going to replay some Sonic Adventure 2 battle but even though it runs perfectly it won't load one of the levels properly that is very early on in the game. I am now considering playing Chrono Cross since it's the sequel to Chrono Trigger. Willing to take other suggestions.
PS: This game is incredibly rare to find for the SNES. It has been dubbed a collectors item. It has come to my attention that Kenjugs has a physical copy in good condition. He is willing to sell it for no less than $500usd.

I know now that culix (sp) is behind there and I shall give it another try in the future when I'm ready.
Downloading Chrono Cross now.

I have recently finished persona 3 FES "The Journey" and if you have been paying attention to me on irc you would know that I have been raging at just how fucking weeaboo this game is. About halfway through I decided to start taking screencaps at just how fucking weeaboo this game is.Just what the fuck is this? I mean its pretty much self explanatory but why would they do this? Doesn't ka represent a question? That makes the ? at the end of the sentence pretty much a waste of space? Not really I guess...
Spoiler:
I still have no fucking clue what this is? No translation note? I thought I was playing an English version.
Spoiler:
Fun fact! Most English speakers don't know what konnichiwa means. I thought this was professional translation not shitty fansubs.
Spoiler:
I don't know what a kotatsu is...
Spoiler:
Ok so is this some sort of bed? I'm not too sure. You don't want to sleep it in it apparently.
Spoiler:
Just what the fuck does this have to do with anything? I have no clue what is going on.
Spoiler:
I thought you don't sleep in these things? At this point I am even more confused.
Spoiler:
So a kotatsu is something hot. I still have no clue what is going on so I google kotatsu, keeping in mind this is a ps2 game and you wouldnt be able to do this normally. WOULD IT BE SO GOD DAMN HARD TO WRITE HEATING TABLE?
Spoiler:
I have no clue what this is. Why the hell must they insist on keeping things in japanese. Its just so god damn stupid.
Spoiler:
JUST HOW THE FUCK WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS? Also fuck trying to make me study in a video game.
Spoiler:
OK BACK THE FUCK UP! THIS IS WHERE I DRAW THE DAMN LINE. HOW THE HELL CAN ANYONE WITHOUT ANY SKILL IN JAPANESE READ THAT. JUST WHAT THE HELL WAS THE TRANSLATOR THINKING?
Spoiler:
Other note-able weeaboo words in this game are the use of honorifics. Use of chan, san, tan, kun, and senpai. They never once use sama and whats even more strange is that while keeping the weeabooness of honorifics in a english version they decided to translate sensei to their respected mr and mrs. Game also throws a few "Translate xxxx" lines throughout the game.
To sum things up this has to got to be the worst excuse for a professional English translation in a video game I ever came by. I mean fuck they leave words in Japanese when they should be in English. It was pretty much like a poor attempt at fansubbing where they try to keep things "Close as possible to original".
Game had good music.
kotasu is a heated table
