GOLDEN SUN! Both of them. Shit is pretty damn fun, kind of frustrating in some areas... But still really fun.

OK my controller broke when I got to the boss of the game so fuck it im updating this early while I wait for a new one to arrive.

The game I played was a remake of the all time classic "The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time". This one instead has Master Quest tagged at the end of the name. It's the same game but instead its like playing OOT on hard mode. All the dungeons puzzles are redone and the monsters are even harder.
I choose to play this instead of a normal RPG because both Mattarat and Kenjugs were also playing it at the same time. So I start this game off by going into the Great Deku tree. AWESOME! I'm about to start a new adventure with everyone's best bro Link! This is master quest so its going to be even better like a brand new game. So I enter the place and notice its pretty much the same area or so I thought...
Wait... What the hell is that?
OH SHIT!!!
I did not survive that encounter. I end up going throughout the rest of the Deku Tree complaining on Skype about much fucking harder it is in Master quest. I mean fucking seriously Giant man eating plants twice the size of Adult link?
Finally finish the Deku tree and skip through all the filler stuff and head for the dodongos cavern. By this time I'm all like "I can't wait to bomb some dodongos" but it turned out to be a complete annoyance. The entire place was turned upside down with useless puzzles throughout the entire place making it even more annoying. I didn't like this area the original OOT but this just took it to a whole knew level. First I had to deal with moving platforms then moving blocks through a maze. The only good part of the level was at the very end where I got to fight 8 statues at once and just blow them all up.
Ok screw that place it was boring. Go to the Giant fish belly thingy and I always hated it in the original.
I enter the place and see this...
Cows inside the wall? Are you kidding me? What is the purpose of that? I apparently needed to shoot them with my slingshot in order to get items and open the doors in the area. Pretty dumb. I found this area much easier in Master Quest just because I hated it so much in OOT. Made it to the boss. Killed it in 5minutes. Went about my day.
So after becoming an adult and doing the Forest temple with no excitement I go to the Well as a kid to get the lens of truth. This was so annoying. There is a dead end that wastes an entire key and makes you run all over the place for a replacement. If I didn't find that waste of a room I would of finished this place in 10minutes. The key I was looking for was inside of wall behind something you had to blow up. Literally half the fucking key was sticking out of the wall and thats AFTER you blow up something blocking the way. I spent like 20mins trying to find where to use this stupid key.
How first the damn cows and now this? Nintendo is some high tier trolls in this game.
Finish that get on my life once more. Next was the fire temple which is alot harder this time around. The first few rooms really ticked me off since I was being a dumbfuck and liked to miss the simplest things. Also in this game the Scarecrows song is required. The song of time is also played 5 billion times in this game to make blue blocks appear. Pretty annoying. Fire temple was alot easier since I went to the water temple to grab the Long shot first only to complete that area later.
Spirit Temple was the hardest temple of them all. It's puzzles required SOME level of thinking. You had to turn into a child twice this time and an adult twice as well. So many keys. Theres also that song of time block bullshit that is extra annoying this time around.
Water temple and Shadow temple were childs play. Not even going to talk about them. Not Ganons castle either since my controller broke when I got there.
So when my new gamepad comes in I am thinking of playing Super Mario RPG, Final fantasy 7 or 8. I might skip all three and go play a Visual Novel instead. Ideas?
