I just found out a buddy of mine at 17 is getting married because his parents found a girl and asked them for their daughter's hand .. they both young and they haven't even experienced nothing yet.

My friend got a 16 year old girl pregnant, he 20 now and doesn't have anything to back up his life, you can see where this is going.

Both of them have nothing in their lives, no job, no education, no real fun either and now they quickly go from this .. to that. All I can say is good fucking luck to you guys, we had fun and now this is what happens when we don't talk for a long time.

How can a inexperienced guy get a young girl pregnant without finishing school first, going to college, getting a stable job, and getting his life straight?
How can my buddy marry at a young age? He is just as hopeless as the other, nothing to back up his life, what will he do? Flip burgers for 30 years??

This is why I am glad I still have a chance to straighten myself out before even moving in to the next stage.

I salute to these men, for getting ahead in life, without actually getting ahead.

Oh Cruz, one is gonna be a father but he has not experienced the full potential of youth yet, not even finished school, got no stable job, and has nothing to back him up, and also the girl is 16, how is that gonna workout for the kid?

Also one is engaged based on an arranged marriage his parents set up, he also has nothing to back him up for the future, and he is still young.

This saddens me, they will regret for stepping in a world they are not prepared for.

Yeah, their lives may be difficult but I wouldn't say it's empty and meaningless. Sure they might have regrets and will continue to have them but that doesn't invalidate their existence or any chance of happiness.

I knew a couple who got married when they were in 6th grade. They lived in the neighborhood town.

Not saying anything about happiness, sure it satisfies them in one way or another to have a female in their lives, but I always think about the prices that comes with it, and if we can ever afford such prices to pay?

I agree that such events doesn't have to stop them from being happy, but in the end I guess it all depends on them and how they go with it.



I sure hope they had enough support to finish school and get something done in their lives before moving on to the next level.

as for the guy getting someone pregnant, i have a friend like that as well. was only 18 man, i even went to his wedding (and bachelor party). at the very least we could all tell he really loved this girl (possibly he might have had sex without a condom on purpose) though we ourselves do not like her (i would rather not say why). he's in the navy and his wife and daughter will move to were he is but i feel kind of bad that he like OP stated could not experience the fullness of youth before settling down.

I do, trust me I do, very well .... I know what they both are feeling because they told it to me, and I made it clear to them on what a big responsibility is to take care of someone other than themselves.

I may not be in their positions, and I may not be feeling what they are feeling at the moment .... but I do know how heavy the responsibility is to carry a world different than yours.

Besides I cannot do anything about it, all I know is that I am glad I don't have to face that yet because I am strong in my decision in trying to have everything ready before settling down.

I got this one friend he is a little over 50 years old, he got his whole shit together before marrying and having kids and he is living it good right about now. He has a house, a car, he is financially stabled and got a stable job too. His secret is to never marry young, marry after you experienced fun, finished your education, save a ton of money, and buy important things.

He married at 37 but he has been with her longer than that, and let me tell you, they both happy things went that way. That is why I am also following his advice, get my shit together and then settle down.

It's the truth .... imagine your friend who is gonna be a father, he has no job and when he gets a job then 35% of it goes to the baby and that will continue on so until it can fend off for itself. In another case, if he would have gotten a good education, a well paid job, a car and a place that is good enough for him and the girl with her baby, then they wouldn't have much to struggle, but the truth is, they WILL struggle because of their lack of effort to prepare for the future.

However Cruz is right about one thing, he can either be happy and try to do his best, or fail in the process and leave them both behind and start his chance of straightening things out again.

Your other friend, all I can say is he can be engaged, but he still has the choice to stop all this and do his best to also prepare for the future.

One is already heading down the road, but the other one still has a chance to make it out ... I'd speak with the one that still has a chance.

Your Grandmother earned my respect, and I gotta say this is pretty much how everybody should think.

If your friend and their girls really love each other, then they should love each other by telling each other that school, job, and finances are the first things that are important. They can have fun and do fun stuff, but they should not forget on what is more important.

regarding the 20 year old friend, he has no job, and he'll probably get money from the government, he has nothing to back him up, which is quite sad, since he is so young and could have had a fulfilling youth before settling down. His family will probably help him out until he can manage on his own, but as for the girl, she has no choice but to concentrate on her child, so she has to grow up even though she is still a young teen at 16.

As for the guy who is gonna get married, same for him, except he has the chance to finish his shit before deciding for a kid, he still has a chance, unless his woman fucks him and then he cums in her getting pregnant, then in my opinion he is also fucked. His case is that his parents arranged for it all so he is under pressure because of it and probably will follow his parent's order by marrying her. My only concern is that he is yet to be 18 so he will probably be interested in other women when he grows older.
