I hate it when I step on a wet doormat with my socks. I hate stepping on snails even more.

I don't care about how it feels. I just hate the sound of them cracking under my heel and then having to scrape off their guts off of my shoe. I would rather step in human remains than a snail.

The title mislead me to believe you had stepped in poo, of the dog variety.

Stepping in something wet with your socks on is a minor nuisance. Try going to work at 6AM, having sudden rain that wasn't forecasted pour down you, spend the rest of the day with wet socks because it won't stop raining and getting trench foot by the end of the day.

Oh I really hate that.
Especially when I am hiking, and my socks get wet. Then the inside of my boots get wet and it stays that way. For a really long while.

You missed the feeling. It's not as much of a nuisance as it is disgusting unlike rain wet shoes and socks.

I once stepped on a snail while going down a staircase and killed it unintentionally on the spot. It was crushed into bits. I felt really bad about it. It's worse than stepping on shit, I tell you.
