Simple Chemistry question

I'm just looking for a simple answer here. Let's see how good Fakku is with basic chemistry.

Anyways, can you create chemical compounds by bonding more than two elements? For example, oxygen (O) needs two valence electrons for it's outer shell to be completely full, right? So, can you bond it with both Hydrogen (H) and Lithium (Li)? Both H and Li have an extra election that they really want to get rid of to be happy. If I'm correct, they both give or share (whatever it is) their extra electron to Oxygen. That makes all 3 elements happy right? If I'm right, I'm guessing that would give us HLiO.

No, that would give you LiOH - lithium hydroxide.
