I hereby confess that I don't know any Japanese whatsoever and that all of my so-called translations are rewrites, containing educated guesses at best.

A special apology to Gurumao - all the 'proofreading' I did was staring at the raws and figuring out what would fit best.

Sindalf wanted me to post this. He convinced me that I have to quit lying, as he clearly saw through my disguise in the recent Kanojo³ disaster.

Therefore, I will stop 'translating'. For a week, need a timeout.

I did the first time jaka posted this. Clearly an interesting read that changed my view on TLs. Moved away from literal translations quite a bit since I first started.

Dun feel bad, most fansubbers seem to lack any real knowledge about the Japanese language and build their success as subbers on educated guesses and uneducated watchers. I mean, just look at gg's sub of K-On; was their main subber sick when they did that, cuz the quality of those subs are below even acceptable.

Well, it's a bit worse with manga, since it's impossible for the reader to know what is wrong unless you have the original script as well.
