So someone made Toy Story as live action. With toys.

It's pretty cute, and damn spot-on, so far. I'm amazed at the effort and work this must have taken, not to mention having all the toys/sets/props.
Thoughts?
Mine: shoulda used Revlotech Woody's faces ;)

I skipped ahead to see the the pizza planet and the delivery car.
Couldn't help laughing a bit.

Man if they used the Japanese Woody toy with the facial expressions...I would have died
That's the one I'm talking about, the Revelotech fig! Oh man.... but then it wouldn't have the fabric body and joints of the "movie" Woody.

Thats pretty cool, I skipped ahead to the chase part near the end, someone had a lot of time to do this.

I feel like part of the magic of this film was the fact that to a child, and with the range of motion/"imaginary" mobility of toys, this could "happen in real life"... this movie only proves that.
The fact that the fake "Scud" dog even chases the toy so honestly, at around an hour and one minute into this, just shows that kids aren't half wrong to think so. It almost brought a tear to my eye in joy.

I'm surprised. It's so intriguing, I actually watched (more or less) the whole thing. Nice find, and someone must've had a lot of time on their hands, which still makes this commendable, in a sense.

Just think of the countless hours it must have took to film and edit this.
This is just a guess but say that it takes about 2-6 weeks to film all of this and 2-3 months of editing (remember all the clips have to be in sync with the movie or else everything will fuck up). It takes a lot of hard work and determination to achieve that.

Given that the two guys who made this didn't actually own the houses they filmed in, they got the help of neighbors (and I am guessing loans of the exact toys for much of this) and worked on it since 2010! @_@
