if it wasnt for FF constant crashing i would still be using it. Maybe try Pale Moon, hasn't crashed on me once yet. Basically a better FireFox.

It's hard to compare Chrome to Firefox when the latter has so many years of tweaking and bug fixes behind it. Right now, Firefox is easily the better choice because it has such great add-on support.
Chrome will eventually have just as much support for 3rd-party developers as Firefox does, and when that time comes, the choice over which browser you should use will be fairly obvious. But then again, Google has done some horrible things, things which I can't forgive them for, so for right now I'm using Firefox.
On my Linux boot, I'm using K-Meleon, which butt-rapes both Chrome and Firefox.
