I think it looks good on both as long as it's not overdone (e.g. orange)

I don't really like them...well I don't really like tan anyway, and I can't get one easily. It doesn't bother me though

If they're real and not spray/tanning-booth induced, I can live with them.
But intentional tanning.... so bad for you, it turns me off.

Indifferent, mostly. Can look good or not. I have to agree that someone who's tanned to a crisp or has that fake orangey tan looks horrible, though.

I find tan lines on a girl kinda cute. But fake tans (orange) no, no thank you, now if they decide to specifically tan or just get that way by accident doesn't matter to me.

I love tan lines that don't come from intentional tanning (both natural or artificial). Like tan lines because of athletics? Hell yeah! Or a tan line from wearing a wristwatch in the summer? Man I don't know why, but it's those tan lines that come about by accident that I find endearing and almost adorable.
Other than that, swim suit tan lines I view neutrally. It's neither a pro or con in my book.
