what annoys me even more that in the steam sale, its always one of the more expensive games on the list, more expensive than all the other unmeasureably better games, like skyrim, L4D2, Sleeping dogs, etc

I dont even think it vere won any award. the "GotY edition" is just like any "extended" or "special complete edition". Its only a name to show it has all DLCs (which arent even that many.)
