There's a lot of people in the bus. Someone cant just take of a knife and rob you. In the taxi the driver can just drive drive to somewhere you don't know and rob you. I've seen it in the newspaper so it must be true.

Being robbed at a bus is terrifying. He'll stick a rusty sharp thing at your side, and you won't have a leeway. You'll panic and just dumbly obey. You're surrounded by people yet you're alone. Scary.
