I'd hate to live in Alaska, but Hawaii is expensive but no doubt not much cheaper in Alaska because we're not within the continental USA, except Alaska but you guys have to go through Canada to get to the US.

Yea, being so far away does suck, I have to buy a frikkin ticket whenever i want to go to a decent con. the upside is that since i've been here so long, i actually like the cold now, but cant stand +100 heat...>_< ...odd for a hawaiian, i know...
