Hmm it is true that your country does not have that large of a military but it is logical to have just a rifle to start with. When we don't count long distance sniping a handgun is the most difficult firearm to learn to use efficiently from recoil handling to quick sight picture drawing techniques etc.

Sounds about right, our military has the same deal but then again our NCO ranks start at Lance Corporal. Still easy enough, you just need to reach NATO OR-3 to get a pistol. Kei went through the same process as well and even I reached Lance Corporal during my Cadet days.

I am unsure how should I react when I see a person commenting under an article that explained into a painful detail that VZ 58 is not an AK in any way and that dude still calls it a weird AK or starts about "Czech AKs" because simply: there were none. I believe we never made even parts for AKs... Meh whatever... you can't cure stupid.
I am so doing a video of "Vz 58 is not an AK"... Just have to get an AK.

There's just those people who, when they think they know something, refuse any other theory that doesn't support it. In this case, I would say vz. 58 is aesthetically similar to AK but design is definitely something else. It's much like trying to call AK an StG-44, sure they have similar traits and may have influenced the design of the other but all in all; different machines, different people.

On another note, I do believe that you could cure stupid. I'm just not bothered trying to. Much luck to you in making the video, not sure how many more people will finally get it what with them still not understanding from all that's already out there.

Camera guy in the engagement seem to be pushing his men more than he should need to. They all seem a little worn out, like they really weren't up for it. Still, congrats to them for surviving.

I pieced out that they're Weekend Warriors. Joined with fatigue that might have something to do with their "uninterest". Also have you noticed that guy with a black/white warpaint over his face?

I read one of the comments saying the guy is just expressing his Native American heritage but more than half of me suspects its a bait joke to the guy he was replying to. Personally, I wouldn't find it surprising they have non-practical face cam done for morale purpose or other reasons.

We all know about that Peruvian company that uses skull face camo more than occasionally.

To be honest I thought it was kinda cool. You don't see much warpaint nowadays.

Yeah, that sort of stuff is sorta gone with the wind when the Sergeant Major comes about yelling at you to tuck your shirt tails or scrape the hippy shit off your lip.

I am probably a walking heart attack for such person. Because A) I NEVER tuck my shirts unless I wear a suit (convince me to do that. :D) and B) I am proud of my beard.
