This picture is fucking depressing...

Just.....damn.

I find it somewhat depressing. But the emotion that overpowers that is admiration. I admire them for doing what they did to protect us.

It is very sad. I do admire our soldiers. My parents are both retired military, and I've been taught to respect it.

My grandfather on my mother's side was very rich and influential. So, when the vietnam war came around and his oldest son was drafted, he pulled some strings and ensured he got out of it. All of my uncle's friends left to the war and most didn't come back. To this day my uncle still resents his father for it.

I was about to say "All I see is a crying man touching the black stone tablet and a few dead virgins" but it would hurt the feelings of the people of America so i'll just say "Sad. I guess so"
