Both, possibly.
In a way, I thought the movie was gorier because the last time I watched it was a few years ago. So I'm kinda curious how much it takes to get me really grossed out.
On the other hand, I do not watch horror movies or read Guro for sexual gratification. But that's a topic for another thread.

Knowing your viewpoint on stuff, I think you won't like it.
The first half is some dudes enjoying themselves with drugs and easy women, the second half is those dudes being tortured and killed by other dudes that pay money to kill people.

Well, I wouldn't enjoy it but I could sit through it and perhaps find it somewhat interesting. No reason to read a doujin about gore.
