People don't understand that boxing is more than just fighting. While the Mayweather Pacquio fight wasn't interesting to casual fans, it was incredibly technical. Welterweight boxing isn't the kind of boxing where every punch matters like heavyweight is, and it's not as fast paced as Fly and Lightweight boxing, but it's some of the most technical boxing, While I think what Mayweather did in terms of playing a defensive game is a discredit to the sport because so many casual fans were watching, it's hard to argue with his record. The man has never lost a professional bout.
Essentially, what I'm trying to say is that boxing is more than just hitting the other dude in the head.

Yes but this was a sissy limp wristed fight on his behalf. There was no attempt to hit him with any power punches. Shit the insurance/construction worker in the match earlier was more boxing then this was. Plus half the country couldn't watch since they blew the circuit for comcast/directv. I ONLY MISSED 15 MINS OF THE PREVIEWS. Tyson vs Buster.... actually all tyson fight weren't worth the money... too short.
