Ever seen this version of the Music Man? This is probably one of my favorite songs, now I know that a lot of people are all over Lyda Rose, but it's just gotta be that librarian song for me, and I can't really tell you why. The beat just sorta gets to you, it's a somewhat jovial rhythm that carries the tune, even if the whole scene kinda devolves into a pointless dance routine at the end. Matthew Broderick seemed like a bit of an odd choice for the part, and Kristin Chenoweth still looks frumpy even after she gets her hair did, but it's still somewhat more enjoyable than the original. ...You do see my point though, right? I am making myself clear, I hope.
