Since mine and Jen's compatibility improved a lot, I thought I should try playing with you again. Maybe our games will get even less lag compared to before. If you ever want to Soku, just yell at me and I'll respond if I'm available.

The ladder descent isn't happening. Jenkins said that whoever won out of us is the winner of the event. He and I got to be too preoccupied with other more important things than to run the event down.

This is the greatest news I've ever heard since awhile. Finally finally, someone out there understands and decides to give Renko and Maribel spotlight they horribly deserve. Anything with Renko and Maribel automatically has potential to be big. I am soooooo looking forward to this.

Could somebody confirm whether they mentioned anything close to 'what plot does the animation take'? I cannot read alien. It'd be wonderful if they started from Ghostly Field Club and proceed to animate all of the sequels.

Well... seems like our paths didn't cross on Sunday... Let's try this next weekend when I don't have anything going on... I think...

My guess is as good as yours. It doesn't look like they revealed much of what it will be about either.

I wonder if they'll hire japanese VA's or something. Not necessarily bigshots, just rookie seiyuus will do. Chinese speaking Touhou characters would be... Odd.

That's fine. My net hasn't been good recently either because of bad weather, maybe by next weekend it will be back to normal.

Adding more to the speculation:
In the teaser, we can see Kanako and Suwako fighting; Yuyuko, Yukari, and Saigyou Ayakashi. What they do have in common is that all happened in the past, that is by taking the fighting scene of Kanako and Suwako as a reminisce of the past Suwa War. I am going to bet a limb here and say that the animation is primarily going to cover glimpses of important past events from the outsiders, Renko and Maribel's perspective.

With the addition of Byakuren monk concept art, I'd say this speculation has a good chance to be the real deal. If that's the case, it really does have the potential to be big.

That's exactly what I was thinking. The animation's title, "Sealed Esoteric History", matches this speculation too. I wonder how Fantasytroupe plans on pulling this off- now I'm starting to look forward to this as well.

That is a natural reaction. So far, I've only ever seen one instance of animation for Renko and Maribel.
With all credits to long-dead but never forgotten Kinema-kan.

There might be more than just this. But I am under the impression that this is among the best things that fanbase could ever pull for those two.
