With reimu I need them but I also need the powers while Marisa kills fast enough before the dangerous parts come XD
Though I always lose 2-3 lives on stage 2....

Oh, those weird sprite things? Homing amulet takes care of them no problem.
With Marisa? . . . Try moving back an forth across the screen. Helps me out when I sometimes play as Marisa.
