EX attacks: since you first got Replakia you can use it. just get ~10 emotion indicator (burstech, harmonics, psyche and care) and it should be usable. I don't like how you must use it if you get it though.
Combo magic: first usable in late phase 2. The reyvateils in battle must have at least 20% sync rate to use it. in battle just get as many psyche indicator as you can (although I increase harmonics until max as well to increase psyche's effect) to reduce the phase angle of their emotion waves. when both waves overlap the synchronity chain will activate.

You can, actually. I used a combo magic against the cage monster that locks up cloche/luca.
