Waifus And The Waifu Game

I lol'ed at seeing this under Serious Discussion... because it cant be moved!!! Waifus are srs businezz.

I take this so seriously I haven't studied for my French and English Finals all weekend. They start tomorrow and Tuesday. I also have 36 pages of Journals I need to get done before Tuesday that this game took priority over. So in short:

Waifus > my future

of course it is serious buisness!
I mean just having your waifus shows everyone your fandom for them!
that you actuly would marry these girls if they came into our reality.

I remember Klown getting mad about waifu game. Only vaguely tho, then I think he tried to mock waar and thus he got kicked from the game xD

I look at waifu threads to see if other moment like that for examples happen.
As well as find a new series to explore and read.

Although some of you claim that waifus are serious business, I don't really see any serious discussion taking place here. As such, I am moving this thread to the random section.

It's serious enough for some people to stay up overnight into the wee hours of the morning hitting refresh every few seconds for a couple hours just to claim their person.

It's grown into something a bit more than a game since so many people play it. More people claiming means a smaller chance for you to get the one you would like, so it would be understandable to get a bit frustrated if you missed your claim by a few seconds, but leaving an entire forum? Lol.

It's fun to be involved, that's pretty much all I see in it. Just fun. The seriousness ruins it for me, the fact that people like Prowl and Spalose leave due to a game intended to be fun is quite sad.

This game presents amazing trolling opportunities.

That and I'm quite convinced that Waar is going to break the forums one of these times with too much traffic. It's probably all part of his master plan to take over. :P

I kick myself for a few seconds if I notice I missed out on a potential character that I really like, but there are so many characters out there that it doesn't really matter in the end.

It's a fun little diversion as long as you don't take it too seriously. :D
