First, why in the hell do these two concepts keep overlapping? There is no correlation between the two other than neither is acceptable in public spotlight.
As for the rape issue, it's a question of empathy, as far as I'm concerned. I don't like rape hentai because I don't want to envision myself as a rapist. But on the other hand, I like tentacle, because I'm not mentally assuming the role of the violator.

I think it is actually okay as long as it is only on hentai and not in real life. I don't mind seeing siblings making love on each other because it's just only fictional and it's not a problem if the man impregnates the girl. Well still, I'm against rape and incest in real life whatever the circumstances are.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with rape/incest in hmanga or anime itself. It's just another element that's part of the overall story. Everyone has their own fetish they love to fap to. That being said, I never really liked incest myself. But, I won't criticize the people who do(I like tentacle and some good monstors so I'm in no place to be the moral compass :D), nor will I demand the author be burned at the stake for drawing what he/she likes to draw.

I don't think the whole "if you read rape manga you're gonna be a rapist!" thing applies, but I myself don't like rape in ANY type of media because I, in fact, was actually raped.
What I find wrong with it is that rape as entertainment only fuels the misconceptions about rape itself. Most people think rape is a guy seeing a hot girl in a skimpy outfit, he wants to have sex with her, so he does. Rape is not about sex. It's about power and control. I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt when I was raped. The guy didn't want to have sex with me, he wanted to control me. It's simple as that.

It is wrong in real life mostly due to what happens because of it: fucked up children and ruined familial relationships, not to mention bad influences on any future sexual relations...
Also, rape is just wrong. No means no, always. Doing it in real life has real and unforgivable consequences.
