What "rights" does one obtain by living there?
Also, I'm one of those idiots who can only speak English.
Many are the same as in America, except not carry guns outside your home and not sue people for made up or stupid reasons (like not realizing your coffee is hot and burn yourself on it). Also, we got practically free health care, free education from kindergarten to University, legal (and free) abortions, legal gay marriage and adoptions, blah blah... Easier if you ask about specific subjects if you're interested.

Also, we got practically free health care, free education from kindergarten to UniversityI like how everyone with a socialist government make it sound like they get free shit, but never realize (or covertly avoid the issue) that they're paying taxes out their asses for this "free" shit and then some for others to have the same benefits. Have fun not having a choice for this, and a shitty health care.

I already said that we have high taxes. And what I said about our medical science being one of the best in the world is also true, the "Karolinska Institutet" is world famous for their research and progress of the subject. And you also have a choice if you want, there are private hospitals for those of you that can cough up $5000 or so for a simple surgery, while most of us instead pay a smaller amount of our salary each month so that all people, not only the rich swines, can afford to be sick once in a while.

They are still "rights", which is what was asked about, so that's why I put them up. Oh, yea, as I said before, we do not mix religion and politics, so we do not have homophobic nazis deciding shit in our country either.

Not really contesting against the fact that Sweden has a great medical science facility. Just wanted to point out the reality of your "practically free" system, and maybe I wrongly assumed that like most socialists, you were saying it is a far superior system to a capitalistic solution.
And what's wrong with people who have worked for their money through intellect, talent, or hard work to be rewarded?
In this world, there will always be people who get the short end of the stick. There are some in your system who probably get the short end of the stick, meaning neither side has any right to really point fingers.

There is nothing wrong with that. Then again, I can't say I believe Paris Hilton has worked very hard for her inherited fortune. Even though the virtues you mentioned can help you to get rich and live good, there are many people that never even get the chance since they are not born under the right conditions. These people are in a completely capitalistic society simply left to rot and die, harshly speaking.
But of course, you can always argue that "life is not fair" and "even luck is a virtue", but I find it that many of those that live under the best conditions have done nothing to deserve it.
And I do not say that our system are perfect, but I honestly prefer it over privately owned health care (it's kinder to my wallet, even with taxes).

I lol'd at your statement. It's is illegal to have a concealed firearm in America unless you have a permit. We don't all go walking around with our guns holstered and cowboy hats ready to have a standoff.

Finland gave me Mors Principum Est.
Sweden gave me Opeth, Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, EDGE OF FUCKING SANITY, and others...

The horror stories I've heard about free health care is what's keeping me from preferring it over America's current system. Maybe its propaganda, maybe it not, but I'm inclined to believe them because the system sounds too good to be true at times.

Yea well, the fact that you as a regular civilian even can get e permit to carry a weapon in public is retarded.
I mean, sure, I dun mind people shooting each other, if it were up to me we'd go back in time to the eras where you ended every twist with a fight to the death, but I do not think it helps the safety and security of an everyday citizen to have guns ready and available all around you.
