I havent seen ads in over a year on my personal computers, they still show up on my phone though.

Ads are actually pretty nice when they aren't malicious or infested with spyware. They support websites, and once in awhile they advertise a product I actually want!

I use adblock+, NoScript, and Ghostery. Ghostery is essential to everyone who hasn't already got it because it blocks web bugs and ads which adblock+ does not.

I haven't see a ad in two years.
