Why we like hentai

I think it's a couple things. One, as many have said, you can animate just about anything, while you certainly can't do that IRL. Two, the dialogue (which there actually is some, unlike porn) is different than what you'd hear/expect to hear IRL. And three, for where it applies in doujinshi, everyone has characters they like for whatever reasons, characters with qualities that make them attractive. The stories are also often interesting as well, very much unlike porn.

Well, when learning sex ed. We were told masturbation was always better done through imagination, rather than a video as it takes slightly longer.

And I suppose hentai still uses the imagination rather than porn with all the fake moans + sites.

i.e.: A barely 18 site, says new person. Google the persons name watch 100+ sites pop-up.

It's kind of weird, i like it obviously cause the girls are attractive. Another reason which i can't even figure out is that the situations are more real than in real life porn. Like in hentai if a student and teacher, or brother and sister have sex that's really happening (even though it's just a drawing), but in that universe it's really happening, as opposed to real porn they would just be acting. Plus in real porn the dialogue is always cheesy and doesn't draw me into the story, i'm all about the story.

On the subject of story in hentai. I read hentai mangas that made me cry and LOL.

Wasn't it Madarame from Genshiken that said something similar to those lines.
Anyway, the reason I like hentai is that there are stories. In regular porn, the stories (if there is one) is very poorly acted out and is never really believeably. And there always along the same premise (Plumber: "I've Come to fix the boiler") I find hentai, despite not being real, alot more believable. I also like all of the different angles that are drawn, some of them impossible in real life.

Dialog, atmosphere, getting what you want (pretty much whatever it is) and I guess we've just developed a greater taste for this format of pornography.

I've always liked hentai, since I was younger. If I am not wrong, hentai means something like "perversion" because it can clearly show the product of human's mind, free from every moral bond. I look at hentai as a way to show our subconscious thoughts. The fact that all hentai characters are somewhat cute (kawaii :P ) is a demonstration, imo, that our mind always thinks about the "best", letting us feel better. All the different kinds of hentai are a result of different way of thinking, and some more will surely show up in the future, because the potential of human's mind is unlimited.

And , anyway, I like it because I love all japan world and also because I love the drawings and all :P

I like it because i found myself attracted to anime characters, i cant accuratly explain why.

The question seems to imply that hentai is something really weird(granted some of the doujin out there are), but to me its perfectly normal its just porn only better because hentai girls are usualy perfect, where as if you were watching "3d" porn you might see a stunning babe but when she opens her mouth she sounds like a donkey choking on broken glass
