May I kindly ask why so?
Guys who advertise about how they work out all the time, and how much they 'love it' and 'feelsawesomeman', tend to wear too much axe, walk around shirtless, and are general douchebags.
Nothanks. :/

Your assumptions are very cute but I am not one of those guys.
I know what it feels like to be made fun of and suffer from the public's opinion.

4 hours a day .. damn .. that's too much .. no wonder you'll feel like shit when you stop .. I workout like an hour.
Well it wasnt like lifting weights 4 hours straight lol, it was a mix of various stuff. And since my job is related to sports it isnt unusual to end up working out for 4 hours.
Oh, and i dont lift weights that much actually (in fact, i sometimes skip it entirely lol, but recently its due to the post surgical pains and stuff rather than laziness...). Im more of a running/biking kind of guy

I used to workout 3 hours a day in 2011 and when I quit I felt shitty .. so I decided to slowly build it up so I wouldn't experience that shitty feeling once again.
I love to run and bike as well, but my body just wants to work out and build muscle .. oh yeah and I love to practice martial arts at home to be flexible.

I used to workout but made little progress because I hate eating. Getting 2500-3000 calories each day is a challenge. Not to mention I'm afraid of taking supplements that contain who knows what. It's stupid and I'll probably get myself a taser since I can't bench 300 or deadlift 500.

No, I just don't make false assumptions either based your personal experience or what find out socially. It's just like me saying metal heads tend to be arrogant assholes who claim other music sucks and other rock genres are shit as compared to metal. Or Americans tend to be fat ignorant assholes. Or atheist tend to be arrogant assholes who complain about Christianity treating them terribly, but consider other religions stupid and those who believe in it are stupid. There is nothing wrong with a person enjoying their hobby or feelings regarding their hobby. I guess I love to wear axe, walk around with my shit off, and I am braindead.

3 hours a day is good, if you do varying exercises. And i use to like martial arts, until i got my nose broken by accident, so now i steer clear. Yeah i know, im a pussy.

Practice makes perfect ... and yeah I only did a few exercises, maybe that's why had problems with it.

If you are talking about weigh lifting 3 hours a day then that's not wise and you won't build muscle or get stronger, but will have a higher chance of tearing something. The key things to building muscle is rest, eating, and how well you can execute the workout, which will then over time lead to you being able to lift more and you will see results.

Well, if you do only several exercises for like 3 hours, then you will just end up wearing out your body, and doing more harm than good. If you do a wide array of things like me, then you will not gain much muscle mass, but you will be lean, in good shape and moderately strong in every direction rather than being ultra strong in weight lifting but losing your breath when you run etc.

You should schedule which days you want to workout such as upper body, lower body, lower and upper, stretching, and cardio. Also, look for variation of workouts depending on what you want to achieve. However, pushups and abs everyday do wonders.

You're acting more of a tryhard than the people you're describing.
