To be brutally honest,
1 - Nirvana - I've been listening to / playing nirvana stuff for years now.
2 - Metallica - Same as above. My favorite album of theirs is AJFA.
3 - Alice In Chains - Alice in Chains is one of the 90's grunge era bands that was just phenomenal.
