I prefer ED works. Cheerism is a great vanilla h-manga book.
He rarely make manga nowadays, sadly.

There are other artists I like on the list like Homunculus and Yamatogawa. I chose Naruco Hanaharu.

Choosing my favorite vanilla author is like choosing different ice cream flavors; each has its moments! Seriously, why not all?

It depends on what do you mean with "vanilla". Half of that list is a mixed bag and Harumi Chihiro is smut, it shouldn't even be there. If you want to make a good vanilla poll then guys like Makinosaka Shinichi and Dr.P are a must, same for Kamino Ryu-Ya, Yuuki Homura, Maruta, Lunch, Jun, Hisasi (even though there are a couple questionable works from him), Digital Lover, heck Fuetakishi has more vanilla than Hanaharu, probably.

The problem is vanilla has little to no fetish, the book you mentioned have plenty of kinky stuff which are far from vanilla (both Witchcraft and Power Play have group sex, fisting, rape, tentacles, bondage, strap-ons or futanari and stuff like that). Those books are great and a must-read but seriously far from vanilla. Tayu Tayu and Aqua Bless have some vanilla but the whole tanks are not.
From that list I'd say Takt is the only one with a clean record, while I like Cuvie when he does vanilla, to a certain extent I like it even more than NaPaTa. Lunch I'd put him on the same level as Homunculus, to me he's just as good.
