Hard to say. Too many kids, and myself included at the time, spewed the world love around without an inkling as to what it meant. My first "love" as in my first crush totally rejected me in front of my entire fourth grade class. I thought it was the end of the world and I just wanted to die in my chair, but luckily enough it was old news by the next day.
Now the person that I consider to be the first person I actually loved, then yes. Things were actually going pretty good for over a year, but distance took it's toll on us and apparently at the time she was often annoyed by apologetic and "weak-willed" I was. Heh, wonder where that went, if anything I could use some of that old quality back.

Nah, I'm good. I got the last laugh. Girl A got pregnant at the age of fourteen and has three children now at the age of twenty-two with her husband on a pretty rocky marriage.
Girl B got married to a terminal cancer patient for... some reason and totally gave her virginity away about two days after we broke up the day of her seventeenth birthday and is probably still a whore because of it.
