A bit too interested in hentai?

Hello there, I'm a 23-year-old university student from Finland. I've been into manga and anime for about five years now, and about the same time into hentai. Or to be honest, I think I came across with some hentai from basic porn sites as a teenager even though I knew nothing about manga and anime scene. So hmm, maybe I've had these tendencies for a longer time I even know.
I study comparative literature and during the last two years I've been so deep into manga and anime that I've decided to pursue an academic career and become a researcher of manga and anime, as well as comics in general. So I guess I'm a weirdo even among other weirdos, since at the same time I am a total fanboy who digs stupid school romcoms and the next day I write analyses of these same series. And I am a bit too interested in hentai. But just a little bit, right?
You can imagine that there isn't exactly a LOT of academic research in hentai, so I guess I'll have a lot to discover! At least my future will be secured. I can just imagine those awkward family meetings where I have to explain that I study cartoons that depict big-titted girls being raped by tentacle monsters. I am really waiting for them.
So nice to meet fellow hentai lovers here! Just wondering if there are any other lunatics whose hobby went a little bit too far?

Hi there! Yes I can totally relate to that! So much so that I made the mistake of majoring in Media Arts (mostly movies and stuff) and attempted to peruse a computer science career just so I could make games or anime (possibly the H kind :p). I mean, I'll be going into journalism after I graduate but I totally get it. Sometimes you get too totally into thing and it ends but being your dominating though through a significant portion of life, although I think I am happy with these decisions.
