There's a reason all of the works showing characters in school says 'xx schooler'. covers your ass.

Either way, it isn't what caused you to get in trouble, so it's not an issue. The torrenting is what got you in trouble, and the fakku stuff /may/ get you in trouble, but it's unlikely, unless you have downloaded explicit loli stuff

Just got back from an interview with the police. It took ages for them to get around to doing anything about it. I'll probably end up with a caution because even though it's illegal, it's not a very serious crime and the police have more important stuff to do.

It was however torrenting Fakku content that caught the attention of the police. It wasn't even loli either, but school girls who could be under the age of 18. The police flat out said to me "pretty much all of it is illegal" (referring to hentai and so on). So I will warn people once again, if you're from the UK viewing content on Fakku may be illegal, it does not need to be loli, but if she has a school uniform on, that is enough for the police to come after you. The police in the UK are very well aware this website exists and attempts to crack down on people viewing content on it may be likely to happen if they're not already.

How about claiming it as an art collection that you enjoy looking at on a daily basis?

Pardon me for interupting your rant, but the majority of child marriages in the US (by an overwhelming majority) is done by Christains... You may now return to attacking 'liberals'...

So i take it you won't be able to view content here now since they probably maybe keeping an eye on you or is it the opposite where it should be fine to view the content and not torrent the stuff? I swear some of these laws don't seem to have much thought put into them and i have seen similar cases in Australia as well as Canada in regards to this stuff and just reading through those cases and its absurdity gives me a headache.

Though these cases are rare since most them are thrown out since many judges see this stuff as not really noteworthy since it doesn't harm anyone and simply a waste of their time. A few however don't see it that way and in all honestly if one can't distinguish between fiction and reality i really don't think they should have anything to do with the law to begin with.

I can shed some light on this matter as a UK citizen myself. The coroners and justice bill 2009 passed a law in 2010 that will make it illegal to possess or view any sexualised cartoon images with characters that appear to be under 18. Even if the manga states they're over 18 if the authorities seem it to look like a you g child in a sexual situation or even sexually suggestive you can be charged with "simulated child pornography" whether the image is realistic or not. It is a draconian law that has unfortunately had people convicted as sex offenders and placed on the registering the uk all for owning a few distasteful cartoons. Possession doesn't just count as having them on a hard drive, even opening an image on a website such as this counts as when an image is opened or viewed its downloaded automatically to browser cache so congrats you now possess a "prohibited image of a child" according to the dangerous cartoons act 2010. Best advice is be careful what you view and import and if in doubt seek legal advice however you may also want to tread carefully with that as if you present said images to a legal representative and it indeed constitutes as prohibited then it could be as good as handing yourself in. I do not agree with this law at all however you need to be extremely careful.... Just seek legal advice and aid as they could prevent you from potentially incriminating yourself.

The UK authorities have a lot of time on their hands to card manga drawings.

It's an easy crime to prosecute people for to drive arrests up and we have a lot of task forces devoted to catching pedophiles because we've had so many child abuse scandals in the last couple decades

Well, if the processed material has clear-cut underage characters in it and not something like just having flat chested young women, prosecution is completely understandable.

The rules are different across Europe. Germany seems to be fine, whereas Ireland seems to be more strict. I'm based in the Netherlands, and the rules here seem very sketchy and widely open to interpretation...

As of September 1, 2018, the Dutch criminal law punishes "anyone who spreads, sells, openly exhibits, manufactures, imports, transports, exports, acquires, possesses, or accesses by means of an automated system or using a communication service an image (or data carrier containing an image) depicting sexual conduct, in which someone knowingly under the age of 18, is involved (or appears to be involved)" with a prison sentence of up to 4 years or a fine in the fifth category (up to €82,000).

It's probably going to take more thorough digging outside of Wikipedia to come to more valid conclusions based on individual jurisdictions. Personally, I think I'm safe when I see large Dutch retailers stocking books such as 'The Job of a Service Committee Member' - material which is waaaaay outside the range of my tastes.

why would they let someone they're accusing of possessing CP access the internet?
