360 Hybrid Video Cable

Granted this has to do with the Xbox 360, which is a video game console, but it is a question related to the system itself rather than video games. Oh well, someone will move it if need be.

Anyway, I'm planning on getting a new Xbox 360 S SKU in the next few days, but my question is does the hybrid video cable (composite/component A/V cable) from the older models work with the new S model? My television/monitor is one of the older and cheaper HDTVs so it doesn't have an HDMI port. I'd rather not play 480 if I can help it since the S model only comes with HDMI and Composite.

I've been trying to search for an answer on the net, but can't manage to get my question answered.

According to Microsoft's website it looks like your golden, your component cable is compatible with both versions. Read the last sentence in the Summary paragraph.
