Question though, which pencil types do you use?

Sorry it took me so long to respond, I recently moved to the East Coast and haven't had much time to get online.

I am honored you like them, I do my best but I am by no means anywhere close to where I'd like to be with my art. I really love pencils because colors, I don't know, I haven't gotten brave enough to venture there. I purchased colored pencils a while a go to transition into using color but I still am working myself up to going for it.

As far as what pencils I use, when I start out with the outlines I like using very fine mechanical pencils to lightly draw the edges, I also find the mechanical pencils are easier to erase. Then when I am happy with my outlines the rest I use in varying sizes of just the standard pencil, I don't have any fancy art pencils, just a couple different basic ones I bought from a Michael's. Sometimes I even just use the regular number 2 if I can't find anything else, it's why some of the pencil quality in the drawings is better than the others lol, some of those I drew at work lol

You've got very good at varying styles! Also, Hajime no Ippo rulz as heck, your Ippo is pretty badass in all senses.

They are so nice and I think they look so true to the original character! ; - ; for someone who puts everything in music you are really good at drawing!!

Nyara & Badkid thanks. I wanted to put the town of South Park in with the characters, I might make another one like that. And thanks I drew Ippo for my guy since he likes the anime, it is my first time drawing an anime style like that, I really like it but I feel like his body/muscles could have been a bit more detailed.



Thanks. I do try to take 2-3 days a week to draw but only if I have time after practicing guitar. I try to get 4 hours of guitar practice in a day if I can... if I dedicated that to drawing I think I'd be much much better. ^_^

Of course but it already looks really nice though!!!~~ Do you draw original things too?
